Arrest in Senseless Killing
Ryan Randy Trotman was the victim of a senseless shooting that resulted in his death. The gun fire erupted after 8 pm, Monday, June 22, in the 600 block of Quebec Street NW, the shooting left bullet holes in many cars, it is said that after the shooting, Mr. Trotman got into his auto and tried to drive to a near by hospital, crashing his auto at Otis and Park Place NW. Mr. Trotman was a gradute of the University of the District of Columbia, with two majors and a outstanding person who some say was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Eighteen year old Troy Renard Thomas of the 3000 block of 3rd Street NW was arrested in this killing. A resident of Quebec Street says Mr. Trotman was not the attended target of the many shots that were fired, a young lady was also shot in the leg, several people said, there may be another person involved the shooting .
